Moderate Pet Odor โ Padding Contamination No Subfloor
Day 1: UV inspection plus padding assessment. Days 1-2: Carpet and padding removal. Day 2-3: New padding and carpet installation. Day 3: Ozone treatment. Day 4: Unit ready. Total: 3-5 days.
Severe Pet Odor โ Subfloor Contamination
Day 1: Inspection plus scope determination. Days 1-2: Carpet and padding removal plus subfloor treatment or sealing. Days 2-3: Subfloor sealing drying time. Days 3-4: New padding and carpet installation. Days 4-5: Ozone treatment. Total: 5-8 days.
How to Compress the Timeline
- Start the moment the tenant moves out โ do not wait for the cleaning crew
- Have a preferred vendor on standby โ preferred accounts get priority scheduling with no quoting delay
- Pre-order carpet if you know from the inspection it will need replacement
- Schedule ozone and carpet installation back-to-back on consecutive days
